Argentinian Action Comedy Bizarre
Some movies are good. Others remind you of your happy childhood. This is one of the latter. I saw it as a kid, and can see it again and again. Not thought to be some superproduction, this is the typical Argentinian comedy. It has all the nastiness you'd expect, but it's somehow cute. You can laugh at the most stupid jokes, not because they are funny, but because they're there in the first place. This movie, as a lot of Galettini's of the 70's and 80's, features Emilio Disi, one of my favorite Argentinian comedy actors. What can I say? Watch and laugh. If you want a better thought comedy, watch "Nunca asistas a este tipo de fiestas". If you want to laugh at bizarre stuff, watch this one, and the sequel (Somehow it's not featured here in the IMDB) Forget nº III and IV... those are completely forgettable.
Vacationers are terrorized by an army of hungry reptiles.
Shiva is a new student in the community college. He is welcomed by a group of collegians, including the lovely Asha, to whom Shiva is instantly attracted to. Shiva notices that there is violence within the college by people who are not even students. When he decides to find out their motives, he is met with violence, and threats. Now Shiva must decide to stand up for his college, or just carry on studying, finish college, and move on.
One of the best Action Packed Entertainer
Shiva is definitely one of the top class action entertainer of its time. For the beginners it was the first time audience saw the use of bike chain as a potential weapon, henceforth followed by goons both in real life and films as well. Shiva gave an absolutely new dimension to action films in India with its fluid packed stunts (something which were unheard of at that time). Such was its intensity that the movie ran jam packed for many months not only in Telugu, but also Tamil and Hindi as well. The film still has cult status down south even today as it saw the rise of one of the Superstars of South film industry in Akkineni Nagarjuna.
One of the greatest
One of the all-time greatest movies penned from the legend Jandhyala. Jandhyala often tries to convey social messages to humanity through his movies and through this movie takes up the sensitive topic of upbringing children and importance of education in nurturing the childhood. Some part of the movie is also based on the unemployment which was prevalent in the 80's in the country. The way these sensitive subjects were presented by Jandhyala along with The elements of humor, love and music rates this movie one of the best movies in the history of Telugu cinema

The funniest movie ever
I thought "Showgirls" was the best bad movie ever, but "Provoked" gives it a run for its money. The next morning my stomach still hurt from laughing so hard. Run to the action/adventure section of your local video store and rent it today.
A squad of narcotics agents is ambushed by a gang of masked terrorists. Only one agent survives, and after he recovers he vows to avenge the deaths of his comrades.
A DIFFIDENT WORK WHICH AVOIDS ITS MAJOR PREMISE.
This action/adventure tale is set in an imaginary Latin American republic amid a background of espionage involving the CIA and the United States Congress, in which its hero, Peter Caine (John Coleman), A.K.A. "The Stalker", characterized in the language of his enemies as the most venomous and robotic of agents, is revealed as an oddly restrained operative more concerned with survival than with demonstrating his hunting tactics. Caine is attached to a Senate-supported anti-narcotics mission which is exterminated during a meeting by a group of masked terrorists, with only Peter a survivor, albeit wounded, after which he prepares for a purported task of revenge, but a frequently occurring series of flashbacks demonstrates that the super agent has apparently not freed himself from a large body of personal devils. The promised requital is woefully slow in coming in this predictable production, cumbered as it is by a weakly episodic structure that gives rise to a sense of inadequacy about Caine, not helped by Coleman's unfashioned performance in his first credited role, nor by the strong presence of Martin Kove as his best friend, a seeming casting gaffe since Kove would have been far more believable as the lead. This is nothing more than a highly cliched adventure film offering only a mild feeling of adventure, fundamentally no character development or perceptible point of view, and a remarkably unoriginal score, although the sound crew is top-flight here, with the camerawork and the brightly surreal sets having interest in this generally dull picture filmed in Portugal.
After the revolution?
Like Stephan-fish, I enjoyed the film very much, although I think there is a little too much slapping toward the end. But I am not sure it shows scenes of the poor Czech country after the revolution, unless the revolution meant is the one that took place in February 1948. The film was shot in the summer of 1988 (you can even see a calendar in the cooperative's office) and the velvet revolution took place in November 1989. The jokes about the communist regime are rather innocent, or very subtle. I would say the story takes place in a country which did not really exist. The important part taken by the village parson is surprising, although of course religion is shown, as befitted the regime, as a matter for old people.
detective POISON
The hero of this movie is a normal guy who works in a bank. He likes reading criminal stories, especially the adventures of mike hammer. He reads those kind of books so much that he simply knows every single line of them. One day he gets into trouble with the mafia and his dreams come true in a way. He starts a funny war against the mafia and his knowledge on criminal stories help him in this war. Pretty nice turkish humor.
Bajrangi and his sister, Sharda, lives in a small village in Central India, and have been orphaned at a very young age. Since Sharda is of marriageable age, Bajrangi arranges for a suitable groom whose dad will approve of this marriage provided he gets a dowry of ten thousand Rupees. Bajrangi does come up with the money and the wedding date is set. While getting some milk for her brother, Sharda gets molested by the dairy farm Manager and his employees, but Bajrangi comes to her rescue. This incident castes aspirations against Sharda, and the price of the dowry is doubled. Unable to pay this amount, and stand the taunts of villagers, the siblings, accompanied by their Kaki, re-locate to Bombay. Upon arrival, they find a small apartment and Bajrangi goes looking for employment. While walking, he is recognized by several people, who call him "Sikander". No one believes him when he refutes this, instead he is abducted by an underworld Don, K.K., and subjected to shock treatment. ...
A lifeguard that cant swim!
Emilio and Guillermo are two sports club employees, that are fired due to their incompetence at work. they overhead that their favourite girls are going on vacation to mar del plata, and they decide to go too. Once there they go to the casino and lose all the money, so they need to find jobs as lifeguards. here starts the madness. there are many funny situations and the fx are very "a la Argentina". This is a style of movie that no longer is being done in argentina, and deffinitely its a must see.
