China Dolls: A great low budget indie film.
I must say that you can really make a film yourself nowadays. There really is a ton of undiscovered talent out there and China Dolls proves it by taking a chance and using many new faces in the film. It's nice to watch a story without being distracted by the celebrities in the movie.
Yes, there are some drawbacks with ultra-low budget film-making such as the sound, special effects but China Dolls has few limitations. It stays focused on the story and keeps viewers glued to the edge of their seat with every twist and turn.
This is the filmmaker's first feature and I'm looking forward to seeing him grow.
